This day is for therapists, pastors, church members and leaders who want to learn how to facilitate “Created for Connection” groups which help support couple relationships in their church and community. Participants will be introduced to a ground-breaking approach which can be used to help couples find their way back to connection and intimacy.
The way to help couples enhance or save their marriages is to be open, attuned,
responsive, and to have safe emotional connection. Participants will:
- Gain an understanding of couple relationships through the attachment lens
- Receive a basic understanding of EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) and its efficacy in helping couples connect
- Understand the Christian view of Hold Me Tight’s seven conversations for a lifetime of love
- Leave with a facilitator’s guide and be able to plan “Created for Connections” groups in their practices or churches
Kenny Sanderfer, LMFT is an experienced marriage and family therapist who is an EFT Certified Therapist, Supervisor and Trainer. He is the co-author of “Created for Connection” and is passionate about helping couples in the church enjoy relationships as God intended.
